And the mod somewhere at Monte-Carlo is just addictive. I never tried the current demo, but even the first one showed me enough. Of course, you'd better check the demo first (if they haven't pulled that one yet). Even without the mod SLRE's physics feels good enough. There is a lot of intrinsic problems plaguing the title, but one things is certain for me personally: it's a solid driving experience. The changes made by this mod are a lot better then vanilla Dirt Rally with the cars I've tested (F2 Kit cars, 1980's RWD) and have made the game fun and challenging, still not as realistic as I would hope but thats due to the dynamic of driving a car and the physics and car interactions from the road, tires, chassis, and so on being extremely hard to simulate from just static numbers for car stats in a game engine.
